Your instructor for this course is Mrs. Sneha Ogale. She has been in the field of education for the past 20 years, teaching Microbiology to under-graduates. Recently, teaching methodologies have evolved to incorporate technology and active practice in online context. She currently teaches via an eclassroom platform called Edmodo, where reference materials (PDF), PPT presentations, and links to videos are uploaded, and quizzes are created within the tool. With the advent of technology, learners are taking advantage of anywhere, anytime, on-the-go reading and practice. Many learners now have access to smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Creative, effective digital learning experiences are a focus and goal for Mrs. Ogale as an educator.

Mrs. Ogale seeks to address disparity in the world as part of her teaching practice. Use of open educational resources (OER) can help support marginalized populations to access mainstream knowledge, and this can create more opportunity for them, both socially and economically. Successful completion of this course may be useful to the community and inform people about sustainable development in an eco-friendly manner. Any feedback on the course materials and the learning experience will be very much appreciated!
